Prasugrel

Prasugrel is an antiplatelet medicine used to prevent blood clots forming in patients with acute coronary syndrome (heart attack, unstable angina), who have been treated with a certain heart procedure called angioplasty (percutaneous coronary intervention or PCI). Prasugrel is normally taken in combination with aspirin . Prasugrel may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
