Tinidazole

Tinidazole is an antibiotic drug used to treat certain types of infections caused by bacteria, including bacterial vaginosis (vaginal infection) and amebiasis (intestinal infection). It is also prescribed for the treatment of parasitic infections (giardiasis). Tinidazole is also an antiprotozoal agent indicated for the treatment of protozoal infections such as trichomoniasis, a sexually transmitted disease. Tinidazole is also prescribed to prevent and treat infections that may occur after surgery, particularly surgery on the intestines or gynecological surgery. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
