Benzonatate

Benzonatate is a non-narcotic medicine used to treat cough due to the common cold, pneumonia, bronchitis, pertussis, or other respiratory conditions. It belongs to a class of medications called antitussives. This cough suppressant works by decreasing the cough reflex in the lungs. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
