Phenoxybenzamine

Phenoxybenzamine is used to treat high blood pressure and sweating caused by a disease called pheochromocytoma (a type of tumor of the adrenal glands). Phenoxybenzamine belongs to a class of medications known as alpha blockers. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which lets the blood to flow more easily, thereby lowering the high blood pressure. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
