Bosentan is used to treat high blood pressure in the lungs (pulmonary arterial hypertension). It belongs to a class of medications called endothelin receptor antagonists. This medication blocks the effects of a natural compound called endothelin in your body, thereby decreasing the blood pressure in the lungs as well as improving your ability to exercise. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
