Flutamide is used to treat prostate cancer. It belongs to a class of drugs known as anti-androgens (anti-testosterone). By blocking the effects of testosterone, Flutamide slows the growth and spread of prostate cancer. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
