Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, also known as Hypromellose, is a long-acting eye lubricant indicated for the treatment of severe dry eyes. By lubricating the surface of the eye, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose ophthalmic eye gel soothes and reduces dry eye symptoms such as burning, itching, irritation and grittiness. This eye lubricant gives protection against further eye irritation.
