Nifedipine
Required
Nifedipine is used to treat angina, high blood pressure, and abnormal heart rhythms. It belongs to a class of medications called calcium channel blockers. It blocks the flow of calcium into the muscle cells of the arteries, which relaxes them. This lowers the blood pressure and improves supply of the blood and oxygen to the heart, thus preventing angina attacks. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
