Olmesartan–Hydrochlorothiazide is prescribed to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). This combination medication is composed of two drugs namely Olmesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. Olmesartan relaxes blood vessels thereby allowing easy blood flow and Hydrochlorothiazide helps eliminate extra water and salt from your body. Olmesartan–Hydrochlorothiazide lowers high blood pressure thereby preventing kidney problems, strokes, and heart attacks. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
