Procyclidine

Procyclidine is used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease, including slow movements, shaking, drooling saliva, sweating, muscle stiffness and speech/walking/ writing difficulties. Procyclidine is also indicated for the treatment of Parkinsonism. This medicine is used to help reduce extrapyramidal side effects, such as uncontrollable face/body movements, tremors and restlessness, caused by psychiatric drugs ( chlorpromazine , perphenazine, haloperidol , fluphenazine and others). Procyclidine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
