Terazosin

Terazosin is prescribed to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). This medication relaxes and expands blood vessels, thereby improving blood flow. Also, by relaxing muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, Terazosin makes it easier to urinate. It belongs to a group of drugs called alpha-adrenergic blockers. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
