Zolmitriptan

Zolmitriptan nasal spray is indicated for the acute treatment of migraine headache with or without aura (warning signs that occur before the headache begins) in adults. Zolmitriptan nasal spray reduces certain natural substances in the body that can cause migraine symptoms such as pain, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. Zolmitriptan belongs to a class of medications known as triptans. Zolmitriptan relieves headache by narrowing the blood vessels in the brain. Zolmitriptan may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
