Bicalutamide is an oral non-steroidal anti-androgen used in the treatment of prostate cancer. This medicine blocks the effect of the male hormone called testosterone in the prostate, thereby slowing growth of the tumors. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
